SpectraScan® Spectroradiometer

PR-670

This unique, portable battery powered instrument utilizes a 256 element detector spectrometer with a spectral resolution of 1.56 nm per pixel and is supplied with 4 Automated Measuring Apertures (1°, 1/2°.1/4° and 1/8°) and an automated measure shutter. Other hardware features include AutoSync for automatically synchronizing to display backlight or the source refresh rate insuring the utmost accuracy, an External Trigger Port allowing remote measurement activation from either a push button or peripheral device, a Secure Digital (SD) port for measurement storage, and a long lasting rechargeable Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery.

Easy to Use

The PR-670 menus are accessed via the on-board, 2.25" x 3" high resolution, full color touch screen LCD display and 5-way navigation keypad. Following a measurement, the PR-670, displays data and color spectral graphs on the system display. The PR-670 design provides stand-alone operation - no PC required and can also be controlled via SpectraWinTM 2 software or by using text based commands (Remote Mode). All communications are via the standard USB interface or the optional Bluetooth or RS-232 interface.

Versatility

The unique design of the PR-670 makes tasks such as spectrally based photometric and colorimetric measurements, source spectral power distribution, dominant wavelength and correlated color temperature quick and simple. For applications other than radiance or luminance the PR-670 can be supplied with optical accessories such as a cosine receptor for irradiance/ Illuminance. LR-127 LED Analyzer for testing LED's to CIE 127, fiber probe for remote non-line-of-sight luminance testing, and a series of magnification lenses for small spot size analysis. An RGB DisplayCal option is available that provides an interactive method for white point calibration based on spectral measurements.

Wide Dynamic Range

The PR-670 provides a dynamic range of 0.01 fL to 2,500,000 fL, without the need for any external neutral density filters - ideal for contrast and brightness measurements of display panels and a wide spectrum of other target devices.

Connectivity

It's easy for the PR-670 to talk to the outside world - it comes equipped with USB and Bluetooth (optional) wireless interfaces. It is supplied with remote control capability using simple text commands and a USB driver that emulates an RS-232 interface (COM: port) making it a simple task to generate custom programming to perform specific tasks or for seamless integration into an ATE environment. If required, an optional traditional RS-232 Interface can be added.

Accepts 0.125" (3.18mm) and 0.250" (6.36mm) sources and replaces the MS-75 during use.

6670-0008-14* LR-127 - CIE 127 - LED Analyzer
This patented optical accessory is designed to test discrete LED's for compliance to CIE 127. Tests both conditions A (far) and B (near) of the CIE recommendation. Calibrated for luminous intensity (millicandelas). Both conditions can be tested with the flip of a lever from 'A' to 'B'. No need to change tubes or even remove the LED between tests. Accepts T1 (3 mm) and T1.75 (5 mm) packages. Replaces the MS-55 during use.

Reflectance Standards
6670-0008-05* RS-3 - Reflectance Standard
2" diameter (51 mm diameter) PTFE reflectance standard used for making ambient light measurements, measurements of point sources (e.g. lamps) or measurements of the illuminating source for reflectance or L*a*b* calculations. The RS-3 is uncalibrated, meaning that all spectral reflectance correction factors are set to 1.00. SAE ¼ - 20 thread, black anodized, aluminum case.
