Lamp Standards
|
|
Optical Radiation measurements require a series of precise steps to achieve the
highest accuracy possible. One of the most important issues is to use a well characterized
standard that is compatible in geometry and energy level (as well as spectral range).
Unfortunately, it is not always possible to achieve such compatibility when calibrating
an optical radiation measuring system. At Photo Research we provide several alternatives
in lamp standards. We maintain low calibration uncertainties by use of highly developed
equipment during the transfers from the N.I.S.T.
(National Institute of Standards
and Technology) Standards and the Standards being supplied to our customers. Full
calibration black room set ups with all the necessary hardware and accessories are
offered by Photo Research to enable users to establish their own low uncertainty
traceability to N.I.S.T.
(formerly N.B.S.).
