PR-655 - SpectraScan (117 VAC - North American Plug)
Portable, battery powered, spectrally-based spot photometer/spectroradiometer for
measurements in the lab, on the production floor or in the field. A built LCD touch
screen display shows results based on radiance (or irradiance) measurements from
380-780 nm at 4 nm increments over an 8 nm bandwidth (5 nm BW optional) including
a spectral power distribution (SPD) of the measure data. Highly precise measurements
can be made at levels as low as 0.2 fL (0.7 cd/m²) using AutoSync™ and
Adaptive Sensitivity® (patented).

BT-655 Bluetooth
Class 1 extended range (up to 100 meters) USB BlueTooth adapter for the host computer
and Photo Research device driver. Works well with SpectraWin™ 2 and remote
mode.

Aperture Option - 0.5°
This option provides a measuring aperture that is one-half the diameter of the standard
PR-655 1° aperture. Ideal for measuring areas that may be too small for the
standard PR-655.

RS-232 Port
Adds a port to connect to RS-232 devices. Includes a 3 meter cable terminated on
one end with a 9 pin sub-D female connector.

RGB Option
Adds the ability to perform interactive white point calibration of CRT's, LCD's,
PDP's and digital projectors. Calibrations are based on measured spectral radiance
values from 380 to 780 nm at 4 nm increments. During calibration, the PR-655 displays
an RGB bar graph that facilitates interactive calibration. The white point target
is established by either "learning" (measuring) a "golden" display or by user entered
target values such as Luminance (Y), CIE 1931 x, y and correlated color temperature
(CCT). Standard measurement capabilities such as radiance, luminance and chromaticity
are included.

TG-OPT - External Trigger Option
Used to externally trigger a PR-655 measurement and to simultaneously send a pulse
to a remote device such as a strobe light. Trigger cable not included. See
Connectivity Accessories.

6655-0003-06
UV-655
Changes the measured spectral range from 380 - 780 nm to 360 - 760 nm thereby enhancing
the near UV response of the instrument.

CIE Color Chart
Displays full color CIE 1931 Chromaticity Diagram with measured point following
a measurement on the instrument.

CIE Pass / Fail
Create regions in the CIE 1931 chromaticity diagram that act as Pass / Fail criteria.
If the measured color falls in the specified region, Pass is reported on the instrument
display or Fail if the measured point falls outside the region. The measured point
and region are also displayed on a color 1931 CIE diagram. Regions can be defined
as squares, rectangles, polygons (3 - 10 sides), circles or ellipses. When not enabled,
a full color CIE 1931 Chromaticity Diagram with measured point is displayed.

Color Rendering Index (CRI)
Calculate all 14 CRI indices and the average CRI (using indices 1 - 8). User selectable
or automatically generated reference. CCT and chromaticity tolerances are also set
by the operator. Results are reported on the instrument display.
